Punta del Este
Hi there again…
We haven’t had time to put the pictures here. We will be back to Canada and I won’t have finished. Sorry about that. The plan was to keep it updated. Well, we were too busy having fun!!! hehehehe
I can promise that one day everything will be here. I just don’t know exactly when it will happen ok?
This place is Punta del Este. It is considered really fancy. The kind of place that all the rich people from Uruguay go on Vacation.
The beach is really nice, but it was too cold to swim. Hope you guys enjoy the pictures.
Any doubt about any of them, just ask…
Besitos…

Montevideo… Uruguay….
Hi everybody…..
Here we are in Uruguay… a small country from South America. The official name is República Oriental del Uruguay; is a country located in the southeastern part of South America. It is home to 3.46 million people, which 1.7 million live in the capital Montevideo and its metropolitan area.
Uruguay has an impressive legacy of artistic and literary traditions, especially for its small size. The contribution of its alternating conquerors and diverse immigrants has resulted in native traditions that integrate this diversity. Uruguay has centuries old remains, fortresses of the colonial era. Its cities have a rich architectural heritage and an impressive number of writers, artists, and musicians. Uruguayan tango is the form of dance that originated in the neighborhoods of Montevideo, Uruguay towards the end of the 1800s. Tango, candombe, and murga are the three main styles of music in this city.
We live in a small apartment in one of the nicest area of the city. From our window we can see the ocean. Most days are sunny here, in June we had bad weather but now it is a nice winter time, not too cold and sunny all day long.
We love going to the rambla (sidewalk in front of the beach) to walk, we sit on the stones and drink “mate”, a traditional drink from Uruguay, Argentina and the South of Brazil.
Check it out….

Valparaíso… Chile
Hi there… it has been such a long time since our last post… now we will update everything about our trip as we have more time to do so.
These pictures are from the road we took to go from Mendoza (Argentina) to Valparaiso (Chile).. The landscape is amazing and also scary. You can see on the pictures how exciting it was to be on that bus. This trip was in January. Actually we had decided to live in Chile while we were here in South America, but when we got there we realized how cold it was, around 18ºC in the middle of summer on the coast while in Mendoza (in land) it was around 35ºC, and we also wanted to be in a place where we could enjoy the beach.
Check out the pictures and leave your comments.
See you!!!
Dave and Dani =)

Mendoza – Argentina
Hey everybody, here we are again. This is Mendoza city, in the countryside of Argentina, unfortunately we couldn’t take many pictures because most of the times we forgot the camera in the Hostel, really bad, but that’s ok. We still have the pictures from our hiking, rapelling and rafting. These were really nice things, as soon as we get the pictuers we put here for you, ok?
So here are the pictures we have…
This city is full of squares, and they are all around. They have country names such as Italy, Spain… every night they are full of people, and whole families. One day, it was more than midnight and one of them was full of kids and a clown was there playing with the kids. We thought the place was full because of the attraction, but it was like that every day.
This is David in the morning before coffee.
This is David after coffee… much better, eh?
Well, that’s it, next stop Chile… really cool pictures from a scary trip…
See you!!!
Love Dave & Dani
Mendoza – Argentina
Oi pessoal, aqui estamos novamente. Esta cidade é Mendoza, infelizmente não pudemos tirar muitas fotos, a maioria das vezes esquecemos a câmera no Hostel, uma meleka, mas tudo bem. Ainda estamos aguardando algumas fotos do nosso hiking, rapel and rafting.
Beijos =)
